  • Rathborne Properties LLC has bought the 42,378-square-foot Baton Rouge 2 building on Industriplex Boulevard for an undisclosed price.

    Harvey-based Rathborne is a real estate development and investment company that owns more than 70 commercial and industrial properties across the Gulf South.

    The light industrial warehouse was developed in 1999 by Sealy & Co., which decided to sell the property when its 10-year loan matured, Sealy said in a news release.

  • Rathborne and its investment partners have extended their holdings near the Industrial Canal in New Orleans East.

    The company recently announced the purchase of a light industrial site at 5641 Morrison Road. The property features 4.9 acres of well-compacted land, an 11,500 square foot dock high office/warehouse, and a 3,600 square foot metal shed.

    The property is just across Townsend Place from three warehouses the company currently owns and leases.

    Duff Friend of NAI/Latter & Blum has been named leasing agent for the property.

  • Rathborne Executive Vice President Gregory C. Lier announced that the company has purchased purchased three warehouses in New Orleans East.

    The three properties are located adjacent to one another at 132, Harbor Circle, 134 Harbor Circle, and 7400 Townsend Place.  The properties total 92,645 square feet, 15,043 square feet, and 112,500 square feet, respectively.  All three properties feature tilt-up concrete wall construction.
